About Us
Who are we?
We’re deep-tech startup company founders, but TicDoc wasn’t born in a climate-controlled office. It was born in a courtroom—a moment where I stood alone against mountains of paperwork, with no money for a lawyer and no one by my side.
It was born during a move, trying to decode a lease agreement; it was born in an insurance policy when I covered my dog and compared the fine print; it was born in a contract signed in a boardroom while I smiled from ear to ear; it was born in letters from social security where I simply didn’t understand who was against whom; and it was born from startups that failed only because they didn’t know how to navigate the thicket of words.
I needed someone to read between the lines, identify weaknesses and issues before they happened, and prepare me with critical perspectives before every important meeting.
We built TicDoc because a human’s most valuable resource is time, and their most powerful tool is understanding.
We build companies and move mountains, and we’re simply tired of being drowned in contracts and policies written specifically so we won’t understand them.
