Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 28, 2026

1. Introduction

TicDoc ("we", "us", or "our") operates the TicDoc document analysis service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, and authentication data provided via Clerk.
  • Usage Data: Document names, processing timestamps, and token consumption stored for your analysis history.
  • Payment Data: Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. We receive only a payment confirmation and the plan purchased.

3. Document Processing

Documents you upload are processed in memory exclusively to generate your analysis. We do not store the content of your documents on our servers after processing is complete. Sensitive data (emails, phone numbers, ID numbers) is automatically anonymized before being sent to our AI analysis engine.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the TicDoc service.
  • To manage your token balance and purchase history.
  • To send transactional emails related to your account or purchases.
  • To improve service quality and reliability.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, Vercel for infrastructure, and Google Gemini for AI analysis of anonymized document text).

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Analysis history (file names and timestamps — not document content) is retained for up to 50 entries per user. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, use the options available in your account or on this site where provided.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, server-side authentication, and atomic credit management to protect against exploitation.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
