Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Introduction

TicDoc ("we", "us", or "our") operates the TicDoc service, which analyzes Israeli laser (ממל"ז) speeding tickets and produces a technical defense document. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, and authentication data provided via Clerk.
  • Analysis Data: The ticket details extracted from the image you upload and the defense analysis we generate. These are stored in your personal history for up to 48 hours and may include personal details that appear on the ticket (e.g. your name, vehicle, and location).
  • Usage Data: Processing timestamps and credit consumption.
  • Payment Data: When payments are enabled, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details — only a payment confirmation and the plan purchased.

3. Document Processing

The ticket image (and any optional logbook image or free-text notes) you upload is processed to generate your analysis. To perform the analysis, the image and text are sent to our AI provider, Google (via the Gemini API), and location/weather data is retrieved from mapping and weather providers. We do not retain your uploaded images as files after processing. The generated analysis is saved to your personal history for up to 48 hours (see Retention) and then automatically deleted. Free-text notes you provide are screened for safety before analysis.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the TicDoc service.
  • To manage your token balance and purchase history.
  • To send transactional emails related to your account or purchases.
  • To improve service quality and reliability.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the sub-processors necessary to operate the service:

  • Clerk — authentication.
  • Google (Gemini API, Maps/Elevation/Roads) — AI analysis of the ticket and location data.
  • Historical weather provider — weather at the ticket time and place.
  • Railway — hosting and infrastructure (including the Redis store that holds your 48-hour analysis history).
  • Stripe — payment processing (when payments are enabled).

6. Data Retention

Generated analyses are stored in your history for up to 48 hours and are then automatically removed. You can also delete any individual analysis from your history immediately at any time. Account and credit-balance data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (see Your Rights).

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete individual analyses directly from your history in the dashboard, and you may request deletion of your account and remaining data by emailing support@ticdoc.ai.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, server-side authentication, and atomic credit management to protect against exploitation.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
